Question about Corbin seats

#1 Unread post by MetricRider »

I just got mine delivered yesterday and plan to install it tonight. So, the question is, how long should I expect to ride it before it breaks in? And how bad is the break-in period?

I got one for my V*. The break in wasn't painful at all. I really didn't think it was as hard as everyone said. Mine's been on for about 3000kms, and I think it's broken in by now. I look back and can say it's more comfortable now than when it was new. Actually, even around the 2000kms mark, I would still lift my "O Ring" in the air to get blood back in it every so often (nowhere near what I used to do on sport bikes, mind you). But now, I could ride that thing for hours and never get sore.

A good investment. Everyone should have a happy "O Ring".

Make sure you treat it occasionally with a nice leather treatment....especially after your bike gets a bath...it really helps the leather become more supple.
