Boots...

I am looking on ebay for some boots and found these, anyone ever wear them? I like the higher cut style, and I would prefere laces if possible, if anyone knows any other types of boots that they could recommend, tell me about them.

I would recommend proper motorcycle boots that are waterproof with velcro/zippers and have lots of nice armour.

I did a review on the SIDI Sympatex boots on this forum. Take a look at it. They are pretty pricey, but Motorcycle Cruiser did a comparison against other so called "Waterproof boots" and the Sympatex was the only one to withstand 24 hours of submersion without getting soaked. Most boots couldn't do a few hours but at 12 hours the Sympatex was still dry so they decided to just leave it overnight.

I've broken them in now and they feel awesome. I've also been using them in 90* riding and while it gets warm, it isn't like my feet are on fire because they breath very well.

Got my boots yesterday. That was fast. The boots fit great and ride even better. Much more comfortable than the leather shoes I was wearing. Plus much more protection.

I just picked up a pair of Alpinestar Ridge waterproof boots... pretty nice for about $100. Comfortable, useable, seem to offer decent protection... No complaints at all.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

I got some combat boots from a friend and while they are sturdy. I have trouble shifting in them. There is no feel and I miss shifts all the time. I'm in the market for some real motorcycle boots now.
