TRE (Timing mentally challenged Elminator)

#1 Unread post by VermilionX »

TRE does 2 things...

1. it removes the fuel injection limiter on the 1st-4th gears of the suzuki bikes. giving you an instant power delivery.

2. it removes the top speed limiter on 6th gear. the limit is 186mph, so it's pretty much not that useful unless you race and have other mods on your bike.

anyway...

the throttle respons on my bike is way more responsive. the difference is so noticeable that im gonna have to re-learn the throttle response.

also, it's great how power kicks in immediately now when im going from a stop.

shifting through 1st -4th gear also became smoother since the power delivery is instant.

i highly recommend this product to anyone who has a gixxer/busa/TLR/SV1000. it says it will not work on the SV650 so too bad.

i got mine from checkeredflagmotorsports.net since they sell it cheaper than other manufacturers.

To see exactly what it does and how to build one:

Ride it like you think owning it matters.

Oh its just a resister! Well, and a switch. That looks like a pretty straightforward setup.

Heck I'd probably do it just so I can have an extra button to play with :-D

Does yours have a switch, V? How much did you pay for it?

no, i didn't like the switchable version.

i bought the "smart" TRE since it doesn't affect my idle like the cheaper versions.
