I've owned an EXO-400 since shortly after they first came out and I love it. It's very comfortable, rarely fogs and the quick change visors are great. Of course, not everyone's head is shaped the same so always try any helmet on before you buy. The only caution I'd advise is in cleaning the anti-fog visors. Don't wipe the inside dry; you'll leave fibers behind that are annoying at best. I've found just using mild dish soap and water does a great job of cleaning. Then shake it off, wipe the outside and if any moisture remains on the inside it'll be minimal... just let it air dry.

EXO400 Sting

#22 Unread post by M109R »

I just purchased a Scorpion EXO400 Sting in yellow. Also, bought a blue tinted lense to go with it. Fits my head like a glove. Very comfortable. Tried on everything at 2 different stealers and this one beat the others hands down on comfort and feeling that hit will protect my head and neck in a wreck. They also have tons of styles and colors (check out their web site so you know what to ask for at the stealer.) Or after trying it on look on online for best price.

BIG PLUS no one has talked about is how EASY it is to change lenses. One clockwise turn and it pops out. Line up the new one and it pops in. Takes only a couple seconds. Don't forget to get a lense sock if carrying your night one in a pack. That way you don't have to wear sunglasess under helmet and can swap out when it gets dark.

Also highly recommend the Echo Quick Lock helmet faster so that you don't have to screw around fastening your helmet every time you put it on and take it off. Takes only 2 minutes to install and you can keep your D-rings on if you want. Cost about $8 and is at most stealers.

I bought one a month ago and I will say compared to my KBC it feels heavier. I get a pain in the neck when I wear the Scorpion but the KBC I don't.

It's the 700 btw so I think I'll return it for a KBC or credit back.

It does cool a lot but just hurts my neck, maybe I need to do neck exercises.
