Pictures ... I'll hunt some up. I misplaced my thumb drive with a bunch of pictures of the bike on it. Still bummed about that - getting old sucks. Besides, it just a garden variety GL. Don't even have any chrome on it. All the (high priced) modifications are hidden.

I have a GL as well, a 1997 GL 1500 C

Nice. I'd have gone that route ... but I had to think of the other half. They had a Rune(?) there the day I got the GW. Figured all this would do is get me into trouble. Still, there is one I've been looking at, but the front end is seriously over engineered. I've been told it handles like a hippo. I've got the GW right where I want it. Not sure I could do that with the Rune....some day.
