I took a break for 5 years after doing an awful lot of riding for the 5 years prior.

I found a 2006 Honda 919 with only 2,000 miles on it 2 weeks ago and went for it. Quite the bike with a great natural riding position, a strong engine, great ride and handling and all that in a package that weights all of 3 pounds more than the '84 Honda 650 Nighthawk I used to drive.

Right now Montreal riding is best done in the afternoon after the spring sun has warmed up the world from the 32 degrees it is early morning. But it's a start.
