And all the original members sigh yet again... I know how it goes when another newbie logs in , everyone holds their breath for the crazy donkey questions etc Well you see i bought this fangly damn thing and it don't run, what is causing this?
Sorry none of those here, been at the bikes way too long, have a fairly well equipped workshop, lathe, bike lift, compressors, spray guns, tools, rubber floor, oxy/acetylene, tig welder etc etc.
A little about myself, I own my own small hydraulics business, plodding along at the moment in this economy.. so not great..

I aslo had this old CB750Custom, which came with no side covers, long story short i joined a few sites and found out that these are no longer available, this being a challenge for me i went about with some clay and some pictures and fabricated/formed a clay version , fibre glassed it and it was a 1/2" too big.. So a long search i managed to get a couple of good orginals which i fixed up and replicated and now sell them on ebay, its now grown a little to include the CB750SC nighthawk right and left covers , the CB700S nighthawk right side cover and soon the CB900/1000Custom side covers, the CB550sc Nighthawk too, the Honda VT700 left side cover.. I have so far managed to buy all but one The honda CB450sc Nighthawk right side cover..

Howdy and welcome to the forums. We like pictures or Blues doesn't believe you have a bike. She's just like that.

Welcome to the family, and John is right, Blue's can get right nasty if she doesn't get her new bike picture fix....

I had a CB750 Custom as my second bike, lovely machine and a joy to ride.

Yep, welcome to the forums.

Quite a service you're providing with those side covers. The Magna I used to own had some side cover issues, I ended up having to plasti-weld two of the three plugs (posts, dowels, whatever?) on both sides. I could have had new ones for a little less than $100.00 apiece, but I'm sure other people with older rides don't have that option. Nice niche you've got there.

Just traded my CB750C for a set of rubber tracks..

But these used to be my bikes too..

But got rid of them too, so now am totally bikeless..

When i got some more money i may look at buying something.. Until then.. I will stick with my fibre glassing and bits and pieces
