I have logged a mediocre 50000kms or so on my bike and have never, ever been a passenger on a bike. Nor will I be - unless it is absolutely necessary AND the person I ride with is extremely capable. I'll be the first to admit it's a control issue. Call me crazy, but it's something about putting my l...

My husband and I try to get in one good 2 week ride every summer. Last year we did 5700km (3500 miles) out to Vancouver and down the Washington/Oregon coast to Eureka, California and then back up through central Oregon, Washington and Idaho into Alberta. I've done 500kms in a day by myself. Just lov...

Finally!! Another gal on a Mean Streak. Awesome ride, eh?! Welcome to the forums. Cheers, Loonette Hey Loonette!! Was just admiring YOUR ride a minute ago - very nice! I wasn't so sure about the blacked out look when it came out, but it's growing on me! Too bad you're so far away or us Mean girls c...

Hally - I'm 6' and not small (shall we say) - and I don't like being cramped up - my Meanstreak allows me to stretch out, even only with a 27" seat height. Being this tall enables us to really ride whatever we want - which is nice. Don't worry about not being muscular - having height alone gives you...

Hi Ladies! Had to get a lil' pic up here of my ride - nothing fancy, but I love it. 2002 Kawi Meanstreak 1500. I've added a few bits and pieces to it. It's nice and stretchy for my 6' frame and just a really comfortable ride for me. Have put over 35000kms on it in the past 2.5 years. :P http://i35.t...

Shot this one evening wandering around downtown Laughlin during the River Run this past April, thought it came out kinda neat. If you look really close you can read "Blue Oyster Cult" on the marquee sign in the reflection.

When I first started riding 3 years ago, I was in a state of permagrin all the time - and especially when I got "the wave" from other riders. It was all just so coooool! Having someone (in a vehicle) see me initiate "the wave" at another rider - makes me feel good that we have that little connection...
