Tell me about it  A few days ago, I came across a kid on a Gixxer 1000 at a stop light. He kept revving his motor, I just shook my head at him then he took off as fast as he could in rush hour traffic and prolly hit 120 MPH! The very next day, I saw him at Hooters with a cracked and scraped fa...

Yeah man, I'm from portland also and rode Tri-met for a while after I trashed my bike. Nothing wrong with that. Plus the Portland rain is coming and won't leave until May. So take your losses and just save up as much as possible, then buy the bike you want in April. That's what I did, I missed a who...

Miles, miles, miles. I've been riding for about 5 years, and still don't consider myself a true experienced rider. I think that when you get too comfortable and think that you are experienced, skilled and maybe even faster or better than the next person is when you get into trouble. Every time I go ...

Anybody out there that's from Oregon will know about the brutal winds along Hood River area on I-84. Holy moly, I've come really close to dumping it many times. I think the smartest thing I did was to just pull over and wait for the winds to subside a little. It took everything I had to steer into t...

Yeah most twins are heavier, but it seems that it makes them feel a lot more stable in the corners, and not get as upset with midcorner bumps and such.

I started on an old honda VTR 250. I quickly grew out of it and wanted something faster, so I got a CBR 600 F2. The F2 is nowhere near as fast as the bikes nowadays, but you sure could not have fooled me! It seemed like the fastest thing on earth when I first rolled hard on the throttle. Bottom line...

For one, I have always been a fan of twins, but don't have the money for a Duc. Also from what I understand, it is a very good cornering bike with great power down low, wich really appeals to me. Basically, I'm not expecting it to be the fastest bike out there, which I could care less if it was, and...
