Re: Fair Weather Riders
... these limp-wristed part-time riders ... you're kidding ,,, right? Anyone who has the nerve to get on a vehicle with just 2 wheels and absolutely no metal between them and the road, other hard stationary objects and a wide variety of 4 wheel and more heavy vehicles whose drivers often seem inten...

Re: popups
This is getting really annoying. For the past couple months TMW has been popups that somehow evade the popup blocker. This is really annoying and ultimately counter-productive. I classify popups in the same category as spam. Why has TMW stooped so low? Gee whiz, what the guys' said - this is a grea...

thank you, sharpmagna for the referrals - just checked
I find bikebandit to be overpriced and instead I use servicehonda.com and hdlparts.com; Another place that I hear is good but haven't used is ronayers.com for my bikes (1984 CB650SC and a 1991 Nighthawk 250) and the first two are absolutely superb resources. hdlparts.com is a lot easier to use beca...

Thanks everyone - I'll get front and back ones
as you all know, there's really no margin for error on a bike - and old rubber is pushing the odds the wrong way.

Nice bike - I like the yellow
in addition to being pretty snazzy - it will increase your visibility which is a definite advantage

Original tire - 15 years old - use it or replace it?
Just bought a 1991 bike that has been garaged since new. Both tires are original. The back one has got to be replaced - original owner "flatted" the tread in the middle. But the front tire looks like new - no cracks, etc. But it is 15 years old. My older brother, who rode bikes for decades...
