I love my full face! I have the HJC CL-Max as well. I've worn a Shoei too for a whiloe that someone gave me. I never felt like my visibility was diminished. It doesn't seem that any of my peripheral is cut off at all, which is all that really matters unless you have eyes in your ears :).

Maybe you should go ahead and change the oil. Then you'll know what kind of oil is in it. That's plan A, Plan B is don't miss a day of this gorgeous riding weather. I'm going with Plan B 8) . Until I can find/afford the one filter that will apparently fit with my aftermarket headers. As for checkin...

Can you mix regular and synthetic oils?

My oil light keeps coming on on my 93 Seca 2. It will stay on for about the first 4-5 minutes of my daily ride to work, then go off. Haven't checked the oil yet, it's a 2 person job; the sight glass is not in a convenient location. If the oil is low I just want to add some for now until I have time ...

Update

Well, the Bandit fell through. Not much else available right now, so I'm putting it on the back burner until an opportunity presents itself.

I'd love a chance to "try out" an inline 4, but I don't know anyone who owns one. Anyone have a suggestion for getting to try one out?

Yeah, I'm going to suggest a one week trial period to give us both a chance to back out if we're not happy. Seems like that would be the best way to do it.

Cool! Thanks for all the input. I'm currently talking with someone about a 2002 Suzuki Bandit 600S, and another with a 2003 Kawasaki ZZR600. The person with the Bandit wants to meet up. I'm considering it pretty seriously. I've only had the Virago for about 6 months, and I do love it, I just have a ...

Depends on whether you like going hyper-speeds or not... IMO it's kind of like when you ride your cruiser hard, you're always in the peak torque areas, using that to the best of your advantage. On a sportbike it's all about the HP, not the torque, and the HP kicks in at the higher RPMs. ...

Sorry, should have mentioned that. I am responding to 2 ads, on has a Yamaha YZF600R, and the other a Ninja ZXR750. I am not a speed demon, I've just always been drawn to sport bikes since I was a kid. I use to sit on Ninjas and Hurricanes as a kid and dream of owning one some day. Of course, I didn...
