fuel leaking from a carb drain port

i just started getting the bike ready for the summer and I opened the petcock and fuel started to leak out of the one carb drain port. I turned the petcock off and it wont stop leaking (maybe there is just a lot of gas in the bowl the need to drain yet. What do I need to do to fix it?

The z1000 has it's pros and cons, the pipes don't actaully look that bad if you can find a different angle shot of them, mind you I liked the pipes from the first go around too.

The odds of the plate falling off are about 1 in a 100. I check the bolts all the time and they've never been loose. I do suppose someone could have loosened them as a joke Where do you get these odds? Because this year, I've seen two plates come off on group rides. Both times at high speeds toward...

the rubber breaks down over time and can become brittle. No way in hell would I ride on that tire, sorry but I think you should bite the bullet and replace the tire. It's your call though, what's your life worth to ya?

enjoy the bike though! :D

I think the scrambler is just a dressed up bonneville anyway - if you like that style, fine...I personally don't like it but to each his own. The bonny/thruxton/scrambler are all basically the same but each are tweaked to suit different needs. The Scrambler does have a very retro feel. I've sat on ...
