Re: Kawasaki Z750

So the question is... why isn't it a big seller in North America? Why are people so happy to be on crunched up sport bikes rather than try something a bit more comfortable to ride but still with awesome looks. I hope it does sell well so that by the time I'm looking for a new bike it's still in the...

There are a few 'Ceptors floating around. My wife rides a 86 VFR 750 and I have a 84 VF1000F. Both are daily riders.

I have the multitec and am pretty happy with it. I have always had multi-color graphic full face helmets before and would wear them on whatever type of bike that I climbed on. Don't worry what it looks like and go for comfy.

I think that most of that type also had a resonance chamber.
4 head pipes into the chamber then out into the 2 mufflers.

This tank reminds me a little of my 75 CB400F in the basic outline.

HYPERR, it does have the Kerker pipe. Little thing sounds mean.

I guess we are really old school. Our daily riders are an 84 VF1000F and the wife's 86 VFR750. Fun bikes to ride for as far as you want to go.

I have found that the best thing for face shields is plain water. I carry a small soft cloth in a baggie in the tank bag. Just wet the cloth and lay it on the face shield for a couple of minutes. Very soon the gunk will wipe right off with no scrubbing required. I can make a face shield last for yea...

Ok, I'll bite. Most people asking this question have absolutely no clue as to the actual potential of a modern SS bike, although many think that they do. I have been riding sport bikes for over 20 years. Currently own a 750 and a 1000. Neither are current models. Both have way more potential than I ...

Quick question. Has the child ridden with you for any significant amount of time before? I don't mean quick rides around the neighborhood. I'm talking about 2-3 hour rides. A six year old tires quickly and coupled with the short attention span I would be very hesitant to attempt a trip of this lengt...

You might want to check your local Honda dealer for a centerstand. I got a brand new one with all the stuff to mount it for a 86 VFR 750 that way. There is some other hardware involved than just the centerstand. It was about $110 I think. Get a shop manual and it will not be that hard to install. As...

I don't have a GPS but am shopping. I have several friends that have tried the GPS/phone bit. Not one was satisfied and so far all have went with the Garmin.
